1. Purpose

These Terms govern the relationship between Brunch9 ("Company") and users with respect to the use of the "Quill" application ("App"), including the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of each party.

These Terms apply to every User of the App.

The Company may amend these Terms within the scope of applicable law and will provide notice in the App or on its website prior to any amendment taking effect.

The App is provided free of charge and contains no advertising. If the Company introduces a paid policy for additional features in the future, prior notice will be given and the User's consent obtained.

Intellectual property rights in the App's design, presets, font licensing, and software belong to the Company or its rightful licensors.

Rights to task names and user-defined presets entered by the User belong to the User.

8. Service Interruption

The App is a local-first application that runs independently on the device. Core features (timer, presets, tasks, widgets, Live Activity, Watch sync) function without a network connection.

The Company may temporarily suspend supplementary services for app updates or system maintenance.

9. Disclaimer

The Company is not liable for failure to provide service due to acts of God or other force majeure events.

The Company is not liable for service disruptions caused by the User or by the User's device environment (iOS/Android settings, notification permissions, Focus-mode configuration, etc.).

The App is a productivity aid; it must not be used for time-based medical or safety-critical purposes.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Disputes between the Company and the User shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Such disputes shall be brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
